Jennifer’s favorite part of her job is all of the puppies that come through the doors.
When Jennifer is not with her MVH family she is with her two birds and her dog.
Lily Kotesky
Veterinary Assistant
Lily has been in the veterinary field since 2022.
Lily’s favorite part of her job is being able to help animals feel the best they can.
When Lily is not with her MVH family she is with her 2 house cats, 3 barn cats, farm dog, and 13 horses with one more on the way!
Veronica Garcia
Veterinary Assistant
Veronica has been in the veterinary field since 2020.
Veronica’s favorite part of her job is being able to help with a wide range of cases and knowing everyday can be different!
When Veronica is not with her MVH family she is home with her siblings, 3 dogs, and 9+ birds.
Kayla Demerly
Veterinary Assistant
Kayla has been in the veterinary field since 2012.
Kayla’s favorite part of her job is taking care of animals in need and developing relationships.
When Kayla is not with her MVH family she is with her 4 animals cheering on Michigan!
Khloie Goins

Khloie has been in the veterinary field since June 2024.
Khloie’s favorite part of her job is meeting our amazing clients and their fur-babies!
When Khloie is not with her MVH family she studying to finish up her bachelors degree or spending time with her 3 dogs, 3 cats, African grey parrot, and too many chickens.
Haley DeFreez
Veterinary Assistant
Haley has been in the veterinary field since 2016.
Haley’s favorite part of her job is Helping clients be educated on making the best decisions for their loved ones!
When Haley is not with her MVH family she is with her Australian Cattle Dog, that is almost 7 years old, named Boo. Her right hand man! She also adopted an elderly feline gentleman named Pledge when he was 12, he’s going to be 19 this year! Or she is being a sports mom!
Olivia Rechichar
Veterinary Assistant
Olivia has been in the veterinary field since 2022.
Olivia’s favorite part of her job is building relationships with clients and their pets, as well as seeing animals improve and recover over time.
When Olivia is not with her MVH family you can find her spending time with her friends, family, taking car rides, and going to the beach. You will also find her spending time with her dog, cat, and horse.
Lauren Pieniazkiewicz
Veterinary Assistant
Lauren has been in the veterinary field since March 2026.
Lauren’s favorite part of her job is that every day beings new challenges and I find it extremely rewarding to help animals during their recovery process.
When Lauren is not with her MVH family she is volunteering at the Pet Refuge, trying out new coffee shops, and spending time outdoors.
Katie Fritz
Veterinary Assistant
Katie has been in the veterinary field since 2017.
Katie’s favorite part of her job is that she is serving the Lord by caring for of all His creatures, large and small, and the relationships I get to build along the way.
When Katie is not with her MVH family you can find her hiking with her dog, Taya, doing scentwork with her dog, Maverick, riding her horse, Sis, or in Silver Lake Sand Dunes with her family.
Brooklyn Anderson

Brooklyn has been in the veterinary field since January 2026.
Brooklyn’s favorite part of her job is able to build relationships with everyone and seeing how patients have progressed.
When Brooklyn is not with her MVH family she is reading, crafting, or outside playing sports and enjoying nature.
McKena Wills
Veterinary Assistant
McKena has been in the veterinary field since 2025.
McKena’s favorite part of her job is getting to build relationships with clients and their pets. She also love that everyday is different!
When McKena is not with her MVH family you can find her you can usually find her traveling and exploring new places, soaking up the sun at the beach, or planning/coordinating weddings!
