MEET DR. PERSING

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Chris Persing to the team at Michiana Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Chris grew up in Ohio and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY, in 1996. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2001.

With nearly 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our practice. He previously worked alongside Dr. Payton at another clinic, where they developed a strong professional partnership. In 2012, Dr. Chris furthered his expertise by earning a certification in small animal ultrasonography through the University of Illinois.

Outside of work, Dr. Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. He is also actively involved in his church community, where he finds joy in serving others.
